In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. By the sky with the constellations.
2. And by the Promised Day.
3. And by the witness and what is witnessed.
4. Perished were the companions of the ditch.
5. With the intensely fueled fire.
6. While they were seated around it.
7. Witnessing what they were doing to the believers.
8. They resented them simply because they believed in God, the Almighty, the Worthy of Praise.
9. To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. God is ever watchful over everything.
10. Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting, will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.
11. However, those who believe and do righteous deeds will have gardens through which rivers flow—this is the great success.
12. Your Lord’s onslaught is severe.
13. It is He who initiates and repeats.
14. And He is the Forgiving, the Loving.
15. The Owner of the majestic throne.
16. The Doer of whatever He intends.
17. Did the accounts of the soldiers reach you?
18. Of Pharaoh and Thamud?
19. Yet, those who disbelieve are in denial.
20. But God surrounds them from all directions.
21. It’s a Noble Quran.
22. In a well-guarded tablet.
